Honors and awards

2005 – LAUZON wins second place in the Best Employers Challenge in the “Large Company” category as presented by the ORHRI (Order of Human Resources and Industrial Relations Consultants), in partnership with the Government of Québec.

2001 – LAUZON is the first North American enterprise in the flooring industry to achieve ISO 9001:2000 certification.

2001 – LAUZON receives the Canada Export and Continuous Quality Achievement award as presented by Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.

2001 – LAUZON wins the 2001 EXCELOR Industry award and David Lauzon is named Personality of the Year by the Outaouais Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

2001 – David Lauzon  is named Personality of the Month by the Outaouais Chamber of Commerce and Industry in February.

2000 – LAUZON is a finalist in the Canada Export Awards of Excellence, as presented by the Government of Canada.

2000 – LAUZON wins the Canada International Market Development award as presented by the Canada Economic Development government division.

2000 – LAUZON receives the Economic Development and Industry of the Year awards during the Small Business Gala presented by the Maniwaki Chamber of Commerce.

1999 – LAUZON wins the Economic Development and Industry, Construction, Transport and Forestry Management awards during the Small Business Gala presented by the Maniwaki Chamber of Commerce.

1996, 1997, 1998 – LAUZON is ranked among Canada’s top 50 privately-owned companies for three consecutive years.

1996 – LAUZON becomes the first company in the North American flooring industry to achieve ISO 9002 certification.

1991 – Lauzon is the recipient of the ARISTA award from Montreal’s “Jeune chambre de commerce”, as well as being named the “Industry of the Year” by the “Chambre de commerce et d’industrie Outaouais”.

1990
-The Federal Development Bank of Canada honours Lauzon with its “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” and “Manufacturing Company of the Year” awards.  The same year, Lauzon receives the Papineau Ecological Society’s award of Ecological Merit, for the category “Commercial & Industrial”.
