LAUZON ANNOUNCES EXPANDED PARTNERSHIP WITH GALLEHER
LAUZON Distinctive Hardwood Flooring is pleased to announce that it has expanded its distributor partnership with Galleher by adding Floor Service Supply Co., a Galleher division based in San Jose, California, in the USA.
“This is a welcome addition to our distribution network”, notes Mario Bergamin, Vice President of Sales for LAUZON. “Galleher is one of the largest specialty hardwood flooring distributors in California, Arizona and Nevada. They have a knowledgeable, experienced and well-respected sales, logistical and support team. Our goal is always to associate ourselves with the very best – and adding this outstanding organization is a perfect fit for LAUZON”.
Established in 1932, Floor Service Supply Co. was acquired by Galleher in 2008. Galleher now services some 1,000 customers in northern California and northern Nevada through strategic distribution centers in San Jose and Sacramento, with central activity from a 45,000 sq. ft. facility in San Jose. “This main branch is supported with customer service, sales, credit, purchasing – all the typical functions of a major distributor” said Randy Wallace, Sales Manager for Galleher. “We specialize in hardwood flooring and that’s what sets us apart from the competition. With the addition of LAUZON’s flooring collections to our northern California supply chain, we can offer LAUZON at all eleven Galleher locations”.

Papineauville, Quebec; May 31, 2010: In celebration of 25 years of ongoing success, LAUZON Distinctive Hardwood Flooring, a major employer in the region, received over 200 guests from all over North America at the prestigious Fairmont Chateau Montebello on the evening of May 29th. The event was a professionally-organized cocktail hour, speech and dinner, with live entertainment on hand and colourful banners depicting the theme and logo for the evening.
Guests gathered outdoors for cocktails in the beautiful setting provided by the world-class Montebello hotel and conference centre, after which they were thanked personally by David Lauzon, founder and owner of the company, before enjoying a gourmet meal and live entertainment. Specially-appointed LAUZON “Ambassadors” greeted guests at the door and presented them with custom-made gifts made from the same quality hardwood that LAUZON uses for its high-end flooring.
The fact that so many individuals travelled long distances to attend the celebration is indicative of the loyalty and support that David Lauzon and his colleagues have inspired in their longstanding corporate relationships. Several business partners were given special mention for their support.
The event was LAUZON’s way of thanking their many suppliers, customers and employees for the phenomenal growth that the company has experienced over the past 25 years. From one sawmill and seven people, LAUZON is now 11 facilities throughout Quebec with over 800 employees. The company owns and operates two distribution centers, a world-class sawmill and four finishing plants, manages nearly 1,000,000 hectares of public forests (nearly 50% of which are FSC-certified) and owns and manages 22,000 hectares of private forest.
